Embossing is the process of printing a raised relief image on the printing stock.  Debossing on the other hand is the process of printing a recessed image on the printing stock.  These processes give your decal the third dimension. 

Whether it is the entire decal, your company name, or just your logo, an embossed decal can make a specific part of your label jump out and grab the attention of your customers. Embossed decals can also be further advanced by adding a polyurethane coating.   Embossed decals can be quite large or very small as shown in the credit card swipe cover below.
